The role of Service Manager

  • Supporting the day-to-day operation of a responsive and quality service
  • Innovative rota planning and effective efficient running of the service e.g., through staff rotas
  • Developing and implementing Person Centred delivery plans
  • Assisting the head of services in the running of the service to ensure that all shared responsibilities are complete, and systems are maintained.
  • Provides effective management and gives advice and guidance to the Deputy Manager and the Senior Support Worker.
  • Supervision and day to day management of the Support Worker teams to deliver high-quality, person-centred support.
  • Supervise the induction and training for all support workers ensuring regular supervision and appraisal.
  • Assist support staff to develop their skills and the service by coaching and mentoring the workforce ensuring a highly skilled, trained, and motivated team.

Requirements:

This candidate would need to have a qualification and experience in one of the following sectors.

  • Registered Nurse
  • Social Worker
  • Occupational Therapist
  • Registered Mental Health Nurse
  • Supported Living
  • Mental Health

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £34,910.00-£39,400.80 per year

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Overtime

Experience:

  • Nursing: 3 years (required)
  • Management: 3 Years (required) 
  • Supported Living (Required) 

Service

Sovereign Court is a supported living environment which is made up of 17 flats, all of which are self-contained flats. It has a team of support staff 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
