Solutions in Service are currently recruiting a Service Manager to be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of our service to support individuals in their transition to independent living. The service is a supported living environment compromising of 17 self-contained flats on the outskirts of Huddersfield.

As our service provides 24/7 support, we are looking for flexible Service Managers to work across core business hours Monday to Friday, however, flexibility is crucial. You will receive £34,910 – £39,400 depending on experience, fantastic holiday entitlement and full training and support.

The primary focus for the team at Solutions in Service is on promoting recovery and personal growth, while empowering individuals to develop their living skills, fostering a smooth transition into more independent living.

As a Service Manager, you will:

· Prepare rotas, ensuring all compliance is being met.

· Maintain full and accurate records and reports in accordance with legal requirements.

· Promote the rights of individual Service Users, keeping their well-being at the centre of their support.

· Manage effective induction and training, identifying any ongoing training requirements.

· Manage and log all complaints, incidents and procedures in line with company policy and legislation.

· Provide on-call cover (rota basis)

For this role you will have:

· NVQ/QCF Level 5 in Health and Social Care (Or equivalent)

· Enhanced DBS (Paid for by Solutions in Service)

We do require experience for this role, however full training and support will be provided. This role may be suited to those with experience as a Registered Nurse, Social Worker, Occupational Therapist, Mental Health Nurse, or someone with a natural sense of empathy that is open to problem solving and thinking outside of the box. And most importantly someone who wants to make a difference, to see the best in people and has a strong commitment to always promoting the rights of each young person.

This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
