Clyde House is a supported living accommodation in Stockport which supports the recovery of clients with complex mental health needs. This beautiful, Victorian building comprises of 12 rooms with shared facilities over 3 floors. It currently benefits from an extensive refurb.
We have a valued staff team who are highly trained and committed to life-long learning, to provide 24-hour care based on a person-centred approach.
The home has a communal lounge, kitchen, and garden for residents to interact and take part in group activities, however some residents prefer our 1 to 1 session. The local shops, transport and leisure facilities are excellent and all within a relatively short distance.
People We Support
Each individual and their care package is different and here at Clyde House we deliver on each of those support hours with the activities of the individuals choosing. The individuals we support have complex mental health needs. Each day is different, there are hospital appointments, GP appointments, professional meetings, and dentist appointments. We also offer a range of activities such as group baking, pool tournaments, buffets, garden games, quizzes, bingo and movie afternoons. All the people we support have different qualities which makes Clyde House a family orientated and positive place to be.

Service Manager
Chileshe Silavwe-Amoah
The service manager for Clyde house is Chileshe Silavwe-Amoah who has a degree in community and social care. Chileshe has been at the service since March 2020. Out of work, Chileshe enjoys planning and styling events as well as spending time with her family.
Service Demographics
Clyde House is based just outside of Stockport town centre; Stockport town centre is a 5- minute bus ride away, or a 1.8-mile walk, with many amenities and activities to get involved with. There is a fantastic public transport service here in Stockport which makes it very easy to access lots of facilities.
