Dane house comprises of 14 self contained flats over 2 floors. There is a communal lounge and kitchen for clients to interact and take part in group activities. The building has a communal garden for all to enjoy. The proximity to local shops, transport and leisure facilities is excellent and clients who live here feel part of the community.
Staff support clients with their individual care needs while promoting independence, using a recovery model. Staff will support with daily living tasks such as cleaning, shopping, cooking and encouraging good personal hygiene. Emphasis is placed on recovery and maintaining good mental and physical health.
People We Support
The people we support at Dane House have a range of complex mental health needs, this includes; schizoaffective disorder, personality disorder, paranoid schizophrenia, anxiety and depression. Some service users suffer with more than one mental illness.
Support required includes attending different appointments; GP, Hospital, Mental Health Reviews, Opticians & Dentist. Throughout the week the people we support can participate in 1-1’s with staff. This may include going out for a drink/lunch, looking around the charity shops, completing grocery shopping or going on walks in the community. Staff also offer a range of different games/activities internally throughout the week. The people we support can utilise staff support once a week to conduct a flat clean.

Service Manager
Jo Konca
The service manager at Dane House is Jo Konca, who is a registered mental health nurse. Jo has been with the service since it first opened back in 2017. In her spare time Jo enjoys walking her dog, and spending time with her family and friends.
Service Demographics
Dane House is situated within walking distance of Northwich town centre. Northwich is a small town but has everything we need on our doorstep; several supermarkets, clothes shops and most important of all coffee shops, where the people who we support enjoy going any time of day.
