Fountain Street is a newly refurbished supported living service in the historical market town of leek in the Staffordshire moorlands, Fountain Street is close to the bustling high street of leek. Fountain street also has the bonus of the picturesque view of the peak district which is only a short drive away. Transport links such as Leek bus station is only a short walk away, with regular buses accessing the city of stoke on Trent, Buxton, Congleton and Macclesfield.
Fountain street is within proximity to the local college, library, leisure centre, Tittesworth Reservoir, Rudyard Lake, Peak District and the Churnet valley railway.
Fountain street is made up of 19 self-contained flats, a communal and staff/office quarters, all flats are made up a kitchen/dining/living space, bathroom, and bedroom. The communal flat has a large kitchen& living area with a smart TV a dining room and bathroom, which will be used for communal activities.
Fountain street is staffed 24 hours a day 7 days a week with multiple staff on during the day, with a member of staff staying over-night to meet the requirements of clients. Fountain Street supports a range of clients who have complex mental health needs, through recovery star model, weekly planners, local community care teams. Staff work with clients to promote maximum independence with the end goal of the clients moving into the community, while supporting them with individual needs/ daily tasks such as: cleaning, shopping, cooking, finance and promoting a good standard of personal hygiene and a healthy lifestyle. Fountain street staff engage and encourage group activities with all clients to promote social inclusion such as: themed nights, day trips, walking groups and celebration days.
People We Support
This Service supports people with complex mental health needs through the recovery Star Model, personalised support packages, weekly planners and local community care teams who provide a person centred approach. We aim to support all of the individuals in this Service to live within the community; whilst supporting them with tasks such as cleaning, shopping, cooking, finance and healthy living. Group activities are a big part of this Service including themed nights, day trips, walking groups and celebration days.

Service Manager
Jessica Deady
The manager of this Service is Jessica Deady. Jessica has worked within the health & social care sector for many years, starting off as a health care support worker within residential homes then moving onto supported living services. Jessica has progressed within managerial roles since 2014 becoming a team leader, field support supervisor, deputy manager and achieving the role of service manager at SIS. Jessica has completed her NVQ level 5 in leadership and management. Jessica is encouraging, supportive and motivated towards both the staff team and the individuals we support. Jessica is dedicated to the efficient and successful running of Fountain Street.

This Service is newly refurbished and is based in the historical market town of Leek. It is a few minutes walk to the main high street. It is within close distance to the local college, library, leisure centre and green spaces such as Rudyard Lake, the Peak District and Churnet Valley Railway. Local transport links to other close cities such as Stoke on Trent are easily accessible.
