This service supports up to 17 people with a range of complex mental health needs. The building is a converted mill and comprises of 17 self-contained flats of a very high standard in a sought-after area of Lockwood Scar.
There are ample communal spaces for clients to enjoy activities and social integration.
People We Support
Staff support clients following a person centre approach. Staff will support with daily living tasks such as cleaning, shopping, cooking and encouraging good personal hygiene as well as health care appointments. The people we support at this service have very enthusiastic personalities and have a lot of laughter. They love to socialise in the communal area and like doing activities together such as board games, watching films, arts and crafts and watching football matches. Every Tuesday they have a breakfast/coffee morning. They also like to go on external trips such as going to the cinema, zoo, go karting and much more. They also have healthy cooking nights to promote good health.

Saddam Malik
Saddam Malik is the manager of this Service. He has many years experience in management and has a 2:1 degree in Social Sciences. He describes himself as an enthusiastic person who like to bring a lot of personality to the Service to make it a fun and enjoyable environment. His aims are to always set the bar high.

This Service is located in Lockwood Scar, approx. 2 miles from the centre of Huddersfield. There are local cafe’s and shops within easy walking distance as well as really good bus routes and the local train station not far away as well as Huddersfield train station for access to other major cities.
