Service Manager
Andrew Robson
My Name is Andrew Robson and I am the service manager of Sovereign Court,
I have over 15 years’ experience working within the health and social care sector, I started as a Support Worker for adults with Learning Disabilities and Complex Needs in a small 4 bed home having no previous experience, just a willingness to learn and a desire to help people. I really enjoyed working in this type of setting and knew very quickly I had found my career path.
Within the Health and Social Care sector, I have gained experience from working as a Support Worker, a Senior, a Deputy, a Service Manager, Multi-Site Manager and within a Quality and Compliance Manager role.
I took the time to expand my learning by completing my Level 3 in Health and Social Care and my Level 5 in Leadership and Management. I now use this experience and knowledge to ensure I equip my team and the people we support with the best tools and support network possible to increase independence and self-esteem.
Working in Mental Health for the last 4 years has fuelled my desire to ensure myself and the team I manage support everyone to achieve their goals and aspirations and to overcome barriers in a safe environment free from judgement.
My aim is for myself and my team to show compassion and empathy to individuals struggling with their mental health, provide support and to treat everyone we support as an individual.
