Collin’s career in care began in 1997 as a community support worker with Alternative Futures. This continued with positions at Petrus, then Novas, supporting adults with mental health problems and alcohol dependence.
Since qualifying as a Registered Mental Health Nurse at John Moores University, Collin has worked across a broad range of services within Cheshire and Wirral Partnership (CWP) NHS Trust, initially as a staff nurse on a Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), then Assertive outreach, before securing a post with a community mental health team as a community psychiatric nurse. Collin’s final seven years with CWP was in the role of Community Nurse Specialist with Chester Home Treatment team.
In 2014, Collin left CWP to set up SIS (Solutions in Service) where he has helped develop the company from five clients and a handful of staff, to what it is today – a vital service provider within the North West of England.
